calling the light to banish all fears
trials and tribulations soak the
atmosphere precipitously arriving
forlorn attempts waver with stature
until raucous closure descends in
silent crescendo of mild dispassionate
ease
fear creeps along the walls of a
hollowed soul from loss and minuscule
love
like lines of writing going haywire
scratching out errors
not believing that anything will
change
a cacophony that pierces the ears
in a non-committal world
breaching the divide between
being lost forever and latching
onto hope makes the day seem
brighter
the soul picks up a music it has
not heard before
sounds of ardor and strife mix
leaving candor, a stranger to
the hollow soul
lines of pukka froth over
and the music gets stronger
the soul no longer hollow
but recompensed
entering the first day of a warrior
the soul that lives without regrets
and fear
not alone
standing in the sound of redemption.
