news update on fantasy series, Royal Blue, Mimi the Mad Queen, and a poem
Hello, and if you are new to Giulietta’s Substack, welcome.
Previously, in one of my updates here, I said that Mimi the Mad Queen series would be ending, but that wasn’t what I meant. Heaven knows why I didn’t explain it properly, so I’m amending that now.
My Royal Blue fantasy series has only two more episodes left of Mimi as she is now. Will Mimi survive the spells from her despicable sister Irwina’s witch, or will Mimi’s wizard overcome what Irwina has in store for her? Irwina never fails to surprise Mimi, more like torture her with spells. What does she have in store for her? Well, you need to get caught up and read what’s been happening, so you can get to Episodes 48 and 49 once they are published on Substack where anything is possible.
Are the last two Farewell episodes saying goodbye to Mimi, Irwina, or Boot Castle where Mimi rules? Or could the Prince be in trouble again? Episodes 48 and 49 are quite remarkable and promises to keep the fantasy going UNLESS! Oh, dear, I can’t give away what’s about to happen, so hurry and subscribe to Royal Blue, Mimi the Mad Queen for lots of fun, magic, and fantasy.

Faded Mirror
not lovers, but friends
in tall green pastures
we lay our heads bent
towards each other’s face
a frozen picture of sweetness
and myth
a love that once was
young and forever cherished
we basked in the day’s sun
our foreheads pressed in love’s
aching misery
while lips wanting breathless
passion waited
we whispered only treasured
friendship instead
never to die, we spoke
we shall live to awaken to the
promised scent of love again
our cries of expediency heard
like the wind
a picture and a new life begins
to love’s learned path.
